Supply Planner

Title:                                     Supply Planner

Location:                           Redhill, Surrey. Hybrid working, 2 days working from home per week

Role Summary:              The Supply Planner plays a key role in delivering an accurate, efficient supply plan that supports sales, customer service, and waste‑reduction targets. You will work closely with factories, marketing, commercial teams and internal stakeholders to maintain stock availability, optimise operational performance, and manage service levels and supply risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Planning

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive, accurate supply plan that meets service, sales, and waste targets.
  • Monitor daily sales and adjust supply plans to maintain availability and minimise risk.
  • Fine‑tune supply plans by identifying changing priorities and short and long term supply risks.
  • Manage stock levels within agreed safety thresholds and escalate risks promptly.
  • Maintain accurate planning data within FuturMaster and other systems.

Factory & Supplier Engagement

  • Act as the primary contact for all factories and Lactalis Group teams
  • Build strong working relationships to support service performance, capacity visibility, and operational improvements.
  • Communicate medium‑ to long‑term supply issues and support scenario planning.
  • Drive S&OP meetings to improve volume and site capacity alignment.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Castelli supply planners and wider planning teams to ensure consistent processes and cross‑team support.
  • Aid with cross- cover to LUK & Castelli SPs as and when necessary.
  • Assist with providing the relevant information for completing regulatory documentation.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on NPD launches and product transitions to ensure correct stock levels throughout.
  • Collaborate with commercial & marketing teams to support customer service goals and challenge decisions impacting supply KPIs.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Deliver timely KPI reporting for the business.
  • Identify and implement process continuous improvements, supporting digital tools, system upgrades, and better ways of working.
  • Reduce waste through proactive management, including derogations and clearance solutions.
  • Work with 3PL partners to address operational issues and drive efficiency.

Essential Skills, Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience in supply chain roles, ideally with exposure to supply planning and S&OP/IBP processes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, think strategically, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience delivering process enhancements.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with SharePoint and Copilot advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels.

Desirable

  • Experience using FuturMaster or similar planning tools.
  • Project or continuous improvement experience.
  • French language skills (written and spoken).
